Consumers have selected the best Gold Medal awarded products: a filtering half mask, GD - 8 double gas detector and RACK –SAT installation set for multi-switch devices.

As far as SAWO 2014 International Fair of Work Protection, Fire-Fighting and Rescue Equipment is concerned, the company FILTER SERVICE sp. z o.o. from Zgierz that submitted the FS 33 V F FFP3 R D filtering half mask for MTP Gold Medal competition has gained the biggest support from visitors and the internet users. The product has received 36.43% of all votes. The mask provides respiratory protection against high concentration respirable dust, dust containing beryllium, antimony, arsenic, cadmium, cobalt, nickel, radium, strychnine and radioactive particles.The innovative model of the half mask has no nasal clip and metal parts. It is equipped with two additional filters increasing the filtration area, which provides fresher, cooler air under the half mask increasing the user's comfort.

Of the sixteen products awarded Gold Medals at Instalacje 2014, consumers considered the GD - 8 double gas detector submitted by ALTER S.A. from Tarnow Podgorny to be the best one. The product was also the undisputed leader (40.63% of all votes) in the poll conducted for INSTALACJE 2014 International Fair of Installations and Equipment.The GD-8 double gas detector is a device for simultaneous detection of two substances: natural gas and LPG. Owing to the possibility of switching the measurement scale, the device takes the measurement in two units: ppm and % LEL. The level of gas concentration is displayed additionally on a barometric gauge, which is yet another advantage of this device. Easy to use, ergonomic shape, cheap to buy and use - all this makes it extremely attractive.

The winner of the Poznan Media Expo voting is the RACK –SAT installation set for multi-switch devices by WISI Communications in 19" racks submitted for the competition by the Warsaw company DIOMAR sp. z o.o. The RACK-SAT set allows to install the multi-switch system in a 19" RACK in any functional configuration. Its clever design allows easy installation, clear configuration of the entire system and convenient servicing. At the same time, the mounting space in a 19" rack is used in a very effective way. The device allows the installation of multi-switches, for example, in a 19'' rack cabinet hanging from the ceiling in the garage of the building rather than in a box mounted on the wall.

To hold the first position, all the winners of the competition had to demonstrate not only an interesting and innovative product, but also the skills of carrying out an interesting marketing campaign allowing to gain an advantage over competitors in the rivalry for the title of the Consumers' Choice. The Poznan Media Expo voting was especially exciting as the hybrid platform submitted by Telewizja Polska S.A. quickly climbed to the top reducing the leader's advantage on the last few days of the competition. The competitors conducted promotional activities through their websites, newsletters and social media using all means to reach customers that might appreciate the winning products. Enormous dedication of the companies participating in the Gold Medal - Consumers' Choice competition demonstrates the growing prestige of this unique award. The recommendation of experts supported by the recognition of the users of individual products often may prove to be an ace up your sleeve strengthening your position in the market.
